Acute Pain Management

We're looking for contributors for the new edition of our internationally-regarded publication Acute Pain Management: Scientific Evidence.

We have established an editorial group to begin editing and updating the fifth edition of Acute Pain Management: Scientific Evidence. The aim of these guidelines is, as before, to combine the best available evidence for acute pain management with current clinical and "expert" practice. The 4th edition, published in 2015, has been well received, not only within Australia and New Zealand, but worldwide. It is planned to have the updated edition ready by 2020.

The editorial working party comprises Professor Stephan Schug (Chair), Associate Professor Greta Palmer, Professor David A Scott, Dr Richard Halliwell, Dr Jeff Mott and Dr Mark Alcock.

We are approaching many of our previous contributors to help in updating various sections of the book, and we are very keen to have contributions from others who have an interest and/or expertise in a section or subsection to help with a section update too.

If you are interested or have any questions, please email Professor Stephan SchugFollow us on Twitter #BestPainFacts
