Looking to engage?

We are seeking expressions of interest from fellows to develop a position on low-dose ketamine infusion in the management of chronic non-cancer pain.

The development of professional documents is undertaken by a document development group (DDG) made up of fellows with expertise and knowledge aligned to the particular document under review. DDG members collaborate via email and teleconference at times that fit their schedules.

The literature for the background paper proposal for practice guideline Low dose ketamine infusion in the management of chronic non-cancer pain will need to be reviewed to develop this paper into a position including the role of oral ketamine in the treatment of pain. The faculty has developed a process AP01 Policy for the development and review of professional documents which will guide the DDG. As per this policy, we are also seeking an expression of interest from a new fellow within five years of fellowship.

As the background paper for this document has already been established, it is expected that this will be a six-month period of work which will aim to be finalised by July.

To find out more or express an interest in this opportunity, please contact Penny McMorran. Please advise of your interest by Friday November 9.
